About Our Cotton Slipper Factory
Ningbo Cixi Cotton Slippers Co., Ltd. — a direct manufacturer of cotton, plush and fleece slippers in Cixi, Ningbo, China, serving importers and retail brands since 2009.
Sixteen years making one product well
We started in 2009 as a small stitching workshop with twelve machines in Zhouxiang Town, Cixi — a town that has been making slippers for the Chinese market for more than thirty years. In the beginning we sewed uppers for larger local factories.
Today we run our own 12000 m² plant with 8 production lines and 300 workers, producing around 5,000,000 pairs a year. Almost all of it now ships overseas under our customers' own brands.
We made a deliberate decision early on: stay focused on slippers rather than becoming a general footwear trading company. That means we own our pattern room, our cutting machines, our gluing lines and our quality lab — and we can answer a technical question about a sole compound without asking somebody else.
We do not use trading companies and we do not subcontract your order to unknown workshops. If you visit us, you will see your order being made.
How the factory grew
2009 — The first workshop
Twelve stitching machines in Zhouxiang Town, Cixi. We sewed uppers for local slipper factories and learned the trade from the ground up.
2014 — First export order
A 20,000-pair order for a European importer. We built our first in-house cutting line to control quality and delivery ourselves.
2018 — Audited and certified
ISO 9001 and BSCI certification, followed by SEDEX SMETA and OEKO-TEX. Retail customers could now audit us — and they did.
2022 — Design studio in house
A 12-person pattern and design team, so ODM development — not just OEM copying — could happen inside the factory.
What we promise buyers
- Honest quotes. If a construction cannot hit your target price safely, we say so and offer the nearest thing that can.
- Consistency. The sample you approve is the standard we produce to. Bulk must match the signed sample.
- Communication. One named English-speaking contact, and a reply within 12 working hours on business days.
- Realistic dates. We would rather quote 35 days and ship in 32 than promise 20 and be late for your retail window.
- Fair labour. BSCI and SEDEX audited, social insurance paid, no child labour, no forced overtime — we welcome unannounced audits.
