Inside Our Slipper Factory in Cixi, Ningbo
12000 m², 8 production lines, 300 workers and a monthly capacity of 400,000 pairs — all under one roof, 25 minutes from Ningbo port.
Why Cixi, Ningbo matters
Cixi is one of China's oldest and densest footwear clusters. Within a 20-kilometre radius you can find every input a slipper needs: cotton knitting mills, faux-fur suppliers, TPR and EVA compounders, sole moulders, thread and trim wholesalers. That concentration is why our material lead times are measured in days, not weeks.
It also means we sit 25 minutes from Ningbo port — one of the busiest container ports in the world, with direct sailings to Europe, North America, the Middle East and Australia. Your container loads and leaves the same week.
- Ningbo port: 25 minutes by truck from our loading dock
- Shanghai port: 2.5 hours for sailings Ningbo does not cover
- Ningbo Lishe airport: 40 minutes for sample couriers
- Material cluster: 20 km radius for fabric, fur, sole and trim
Seven steps from fabric to export carton
Every step happens in our own plant, which is what keeps lead time and consistency under control.
Material inspection
Incoming cotton, fleece and faux fur are checked for weight, colour fastness and shrinkage against the approved standard before they enter the warehouse.
Fabric cutting
Three automatic cutting machines plus two die presses. Every size of a size run is cut from the same bolt to keep colour consistent across the order.
Upper stitching
Six stitching lines with 180 industrial machines. Uppers are stitched to the approved pattern, then matched by shade before lasting.
Lasting & gluing
Four hot-melt and cold-cement gluing lines. Soles are pressed to upper under a controlled temperature and pressure cycle so they do not lift.
Memory foam & insole
Foam is cut and laminated in house, so we control density rather than trusting an outside supplier of pre-made insoles.
Quality control
In-line inspection at every station, 100% needle detection, then AQL 2.5 final random inspection on the packed cartons.
Packing & loading
Polybag, hangtag, box or mixed assortment packing with your barcodes. Cartons are marked to your shipping marks and loaded at our own dock.
Documentation
We prepare the packing list, invoice, and any certification or test report your customs broker or retail customer requires.
Shipping
Booked with your forwarder or ours, consolidated if needed, and loaded from Ningbo. We send you the loading photos and container number.
What we can do, in numbers
Moulds and size ranges
More than 200 existing moulds covering EU 20–48, so you can usually start from a mould we already own instead of paying for new tooling. New tooling takes 15-20 days and is refunded against your first bulk order.
In-house material lab
We test sole abrasion, flexing, colour fastness and foam compression recovery ourselves before sending anything to a third-party lab — cheaper and faster iterations during development.
Warehouse & loading
2,000 m² finished-goods warehouse, our own loading dock and a 40-foot container loaded in under four hours.
Come and see the factory
We encourage customers to visit — especially before a large first order. You are welcome to walk the lines, meet the QC team, check the warehouse and watch your order being made.
